Appointed Executive Director a.i., UN Office for Partnerships in April 2020 concurrently as Senior Communications Adviser in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General, Annemarie Hou served as Chief of Staff and Director of the Executive Office of UNAIDS.
Environmental activist and member of Chad’s pastoralist Mbororo community, Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim began advocating for Indigenous rights and environmental protection at age 16, founding the Association for Indigenous Women and Peoples of Chad (AFPAT).
