This panel brought together 4 incredible voices, Rebecca Minkoff, Jessica Andrews, Liliana Vazquez and Tanya Taylor, to discuss Empowerment & Inclusivity in Fashion. Rebecca said “There’s a lot of talk about surface inclusivity, what people put on their instagram feeds and I think there’s a huge call to action that has to go far depeer than that. How many people are represented as people of color within your company? I’m extraordinaraly proud that over 50% of our staff are people of color. And it’s not just that (…)”, which was seconded by Tayna, who defines inclusivity as “from a diversity perspective, this summer, seeing to Rebecca’s point, we realized it’s not about what we are putting out on Instagram or what looks public for the company that matters in terms of diversity, but really looking at the internal team”.
